Violence against women, including sexual violence, and post-rape care services

Leso Munala focuses her research on exploring and addressing violence against women in East Africa, including the development of policies and interventions for survivors of sexual violence, eliminating harmful cultural practices, and improving post-rape care services. She has been a visiting lecturer in the Online MPH in Public Health Practice Degree program since 2015 where she teaches HPP 507, Violence as a Public Health Issue, and HPP 583, Global Health in the Developing World.
