About
Gloria DiFulvio has extensive experience in utilizing mixed methods to evaluate health and human service programs throughout the United States. Her research interests include a focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth health. Recently, she has implemented a photovoice project to assess the unique needs of LGBT youth in rural communities. From 2004-2008 she served as the senior evaluator for the U.S. Department of Education’s Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse and Violence Prevention. She has extensive involvement in community grant-funded projects in mental health and suicide prevention, HIV prevention, domestic violence, drug and alcohol prevention and treatment, and K-12 prevention programs. Most recently, she served as lead evaluator with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Statewide Youth Suicide Prevention Project.
