About

David Hosmer served on the faculty from 1973 to 2002. Along with former SPHHS faculty member Stanley Lemeshow, he is coauthor of Applied Logistic Regression. In addition, he recently completed a revision of Applied Survival Analysis: Regression Modeling of Time to Event Data, also with Lemeshow and former SPHHS PhD student Susanne May. While on the SPHHS faculty he served on over 100 thesis committees and supervised eight PhD student dissertations. Hosmer remains active from his home base in Stowe, Vt., teaching short courses on logistic regression and survival analysis, as well as working on biostatistical and applied research with former SPHHS colleagues and others around the world.
