Jerry Levinsky, lecturer in labor studies and sociology in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, was recently elected Northeast Regional Representative to the national executive board of the United Association for Labor Educators (UALE).
Levinsky, who teaches courses on sports, labor and social justice, joins the UALE’s 10-member executive board.
Born of the merger between Workers’ Education Local 189 and the University and College Labor Education Association, the UALE is an organization of labor educators based primarily in the United States and Canada. More information about the UALE can be found at uale.org.
