Donahue Institute to Host Open House for Campus Community on April 15

The UMass Amherst Donahue Institute will host an open house Tuesday, April 15, from 4-6:30 p.m. at Old Chapel. The institute invites all members of the campus community to the event to connect with campus leaders, staff and students and learn how the institute is making a real difference in Massachusetts, New England and beyond.

Attendees will explore opportunities for collaboration and growth in public service, research and economic development while enjoying refreshments and an a capella performance by a student musical group. The event will be emceed by Donahue Institute Executive Director Johan A. Uvin. 

Established in 1971, the UMass Donahue Institute is a public service, research, and economic development arm of the University of Massachusetts. The institute’s mission is to foster healthy communities and support economies that alleviate poverty and promote opportunity. In collaboration with partner organizations and clients, the institute carries out its mission through research, education and training, capacity building and direct services to strengthen its collective impact.
