Student Spotlight: Amelia Jennette
Amelia is a junior in the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences majoring in Pre-Veterinary Science with a minor in Natural Resources Conservation. She hopes to pursue a career in veterinary clinical research.
She says that she has always had a passion for veterinary medicine and understanding the natural world and that attending a program at Cornell University heightened her passion for science.
According to Amelia, being a part of the College of Natural Sciences has given her a variety of opportunities, including assisting in Professor Carlos Gradil’s Equine IUD lab, participating in the 2022 CAFE Summer Scholars Program, and working on Dr. Purdy’s alpaca farm.
Amelia is ecstatic to continue her studies and expresses how grateful she is for all the opportunities CNS has provided her with, as well as all the supportive faculty members she has met along the way.
