Internal Service Award

THE COLLEGE OF NATURAL SCIENCES EXCEPTIONAL INTERNAL SERVICE AWARDS

In recognition of the outstanding contributions made by many faculty members to departmental, college, and/or university service, each department within CNS will select a faculty member or group of faculty members to receive an Exceptional Internal Service Award. The awardees will be acknowledged at the CNS Recognition Ceremony and will receive a $500 honorarium. Department Heads/Chairs, in consultation with their Department Personnel Committee, select a recipient for this award based on exceptional contributions to service to the department, CNS, and/or the university. A brief paragraph with the recipient’s name and justification for receiving this award should be sent to Lexi Fox (alexandrafox [at] umass [dot] edu) by March 7th, 2025.
