Career Fairs & Workshops

Each year the CNS Career Center hosts 5-7 Career Fairs, and the University as a whole presents over 20.  We also lead Career Panels and Employer Information Sessions, in addition to career skill-building workshops which include Resume Writing, Cover Letter Writing, How to Network, and How to Ace a Career Fair. Make use of all these Career Events to increase your skills and knowledge of the world of work, and meet with employers.

All Career Events (including skill-building workshops) and Career Fairs are listed on Handshake.  Check there often for updates and companies attending these Fairs, and register to attend these events.  If you bookmark a Fair or Event in Handshake, you will be notified of any changes, and when a new company signs up.

Not sure how to prepare for a Career Fair? Check out tips in our Career Handbook or make an appointment with career advisor to discuss.

All Career Fairs are open to all UMass Amherst students.  Sometimes a Career Fair which seems outside of your major might bring employers that you are interested in.  Take a look at each Career Fair in Handshake and see what employers are scheduled, and think broadly about which career fairs are worth attending.  These are great opportunities you don't want to miss!:
