The BA is a great choice if you want to learn about chemistry and leverage that knowledge in other areas, such as K–12 education, medicine, or business. As a chemistry major, you will work closely with a faculty advisor to discuss your future.
A BA in chemistry integrates basic coursework in chemistry, biology, and physics with foundational mathematics. The curriculum is often more flexible than comparable BS degrees—ideal for you if you do not intend to pursue graduate study, medical school, or work in a laboratory.
