Artist and Professor Shona Macdonald Receives Fellowship at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts

Professor of Art Shona Macdonald has been offered a fellowship at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City, Nebraska, from April 22 through May 10, 2024.
Fellows are selected on an international basis to live and work together sharing creative research. The important aspect is meeting artists from cross-disciplines and finding mutual ground
Macdonald received her MFA in 1996 in studio arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her BFA in 1992 from Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. Known both nationally and internationally, her work has appeared in solo shows from New York to New Zealand and in numerous group shows across the United States, UK, Australia, and Canada.
The recipient of grants and fellowships in the US and Europe, Macdonald is currently Professor of Studio Art at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and formerly Associate Professor at Illinois State University, where she taught from 1998 until 2006.
