Caryn Brause Receives ACSA Distinguished Professor Award

Caryn Brause, Professor of Architecture, has been awarded the prestigious Distinguished Professor Award from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture.
This major national honor recognizes architecture faculty who have had a significant and lasting impact on students through their teaching, mentorship, and academic leadership. Brause’s work has been widely celebrated for its ability to foster creative inquiry and support student development. Stephen Schreiber, Professor and Chair of the Department of Architecture, adds that “Caryn has been a valued colleague at UMass and the Five Colleges for the past 2 decades. We are thrilled that she has been honored by our national organization.”
She will be formally recognized at the ACSA Annual Meeting in Chicago this March, where she will also present her work.
