Minor in Music
Pursue your love of music alongside your primary program of study.
The minor in music performance gives you the option to undertake extensive music study while majoring in another subject, enriching your education whether or not you anticipate a profession involving music. The minor may be focused on either classical or jazz studies and admission is by audition only.
The minor requires four semesters of applied lessons, four semesters of ensemble participation, music theory, aural skills, courses in classical music or jazz (depending on your focus), and approved electives.
