Transform PreK–12 education policy and practices.
The Educational Leadership program at UMass Amherst is designed for students committed to transforming PreK–12 education by shaping policy and practice across diverse educational contexts. The program equips students with a deep understanding of organizational change and school reform, as well as expertise in educational policy and politics, curriculum development, instructional improvement, and evaluation. Students also benefit from opportunities to engage with the Center for Education Policy, which manages externally funded grants and contracts and provides valuable avenues for applied research and professional collaboration.
