Theresa Austin receives Lifetime Achievement award from ISLS

Professor Theresa Y. Austin, an educational sociolinguist in the Language, Literacy, and Culture Concentration, was recognized by the the International Society for Language Study (ISLS) with a Distinguished Scholar and Lifetime Achievement in Language Studies Award. Her record of contributions spans leadership in the organization, as well as mentoring graduate students through co-authored publications and presentations and adjudicating graduate student awards.
