Lecturer Jodi Drury, Professor Michael Krezmien, and doctoral candidate Alicia Gonzales published an article in the Journal of the American Academy of Special Education Professionals.

Their study, "Educational Leaders’ Perspectives on their Preparation, Practice, and Professional Development in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support," investigates the degree to which educators in a rural area of the Northeaster United States felt prepared to implement multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) in their schools. Despite indications of confidence among the sample group, the authors discovered gaps in knowledge among educators, and that further training was needed.
