The topic of this talk is on the Implications of AI for International Education, specifically how technology can be utilized to support international education while still retaining the values of the Center of International Education.
Our speaker is Aysegul Ildeniz, Tech Visionary, Author, Journalist and International Board Member. Aysegul Ildeniz is a global technology leader focused on innovation, AI / smart technologies and future vision based in San Francisco. She was chosen as one of the most creative people in the world by Fast Company (2015) and created award winning products using smart technologies we use today.
Ildeniz served as the Vice President for New Devices Group at Intel Corporation. Prior, Ildeniz was the regional director for Turkey, Middle East and Africa Region and EMEA board director at Intel. She joined Silver Spring Networks, a public smart energy company, in 2016 as COO and oversaw company’s successful exit after smart city rollouts in Chicago, Singapore, Paris, Copenhagen, Dubai. She currently serves as a board director at international companies and does consultancy and investment in Silicon Valley.
Ildeniz is a 2010 Eisenhower Fellow, board member of Turkish Philanthropy Funds, the chair of Turkish Business Association’s Silicon Valley Network, and has won several awards for her international leadership. She is a tech columnist at Oksijen Newspaper in Turkey and is the author of three books, focusing primarily on technology and AI.
