Regalia & Commencement Fair

This year’s commencement fair will be Wednesday, May 7th from 10:00am-4:00pm in the Campus Center Auditorium.  During this fair, you will have the opportunity to pick up your regalia (cap and gown), purchase a class ring and more.  Each graduating senior will be given a cord to represent your education degree.  Cords will be available at the commencement fair and in the advising office. If you are unable to attend, you can pick up your regalia at the Bookstore in the Campus Center.

  • The week of Commencement: Monday, May 12 – Thursday, May 15,10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Campus Center 165
  • On Commencement Day: Saturday, May 17, Prior to 10:00 a.m. Ceremony, Lot 11 Graduate Assembly Area at McGuirk Alumni Stadium

If you are unable to collect your regalia at any of these times, you can have someone pick it up for you. They should have your SPIRE ID#, your height, and the name of the school/college you are graduating from (for tassel color).

Tassel: Registration and Name Pronunciation

The university is excited to partner with Tassel (formerly Marching Order) to coordinate registration for commencement and ensure your name is properly pronounced at your senior recognition ceremony. In the coming weeks, graduates will receive an email directly from Tassel. The email will include links inviting graduates to register for the ceremonies they plan to attend and encouraging them to record their name so it is pronounced correctly at the ceremony. Having accurate information about who is participating in each ceremony allows us to plan accordingly. Graduates will need to respond even if they are unable to attend.

Please give these emails your prompt attention so that we can plan around attendance and make sure names are announced properly at the 2025 College of Education Senior Celebration
