The Research, Educational Measurement, & Psychometrics (REMP) doctoral program prepares students to develop and implement assessment, evaluation, and measurement practices that are relevant, responsive, and sustaining. We focus on designing and validating educational tests, psychometric modeling, and creating assessment methods that are both valid and useful in diverse educational contexts. Our curriculum covers areas such as response theory, classical test theory, structural equation modeling, test development and validation, scaling methods, and statistical techniques (e.g., multivariate statistics, regression analysis, and simulation). Students also develop core skills in communication and collaboration, engaging with diverse stakeholders, including practitioners, policymakers, scholars, and funders. Through global networking and exposure to diverse perspectives, students gain insights into international best practices in inclusive psychometrics. All full-time admitted students receive comprehensive financial support for at least three years ensuring that all students have equal access to the resources
