UMass Amherst Microgrants
If you are experiencing an unexpected financial emergency such as a loss of income or increase in expenses, resources may be available to you through the Dean of Students Office. We encourage you to apply for a microgrant of up to $500.
If you are a student parent facing unexpected expenses that would negatively impact your academic progress, resources may also be available through Student Parent Programs. We encourage you to apply for a family grant of up to $500. Unlike microgrants through the Dean of Students Office, family grants are available up to twice per academic year.
Early Childhood Educators Scholarship Program
You may be eligible for the Early Childhood Educators Scholarship Program if you live in Massachusetts and work as an educator or provider in an early education and care program or out of school time program that is licensed or authorized by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).
