The University+ Session

University+, Univ+, or U+ is a designation in SPIRE for classes that were previously labeled as UWW or CPE. Courses in the U+ session are primarily online, flexible, and part-time (with some exceptions where indicated).

The University+ Session is administered by the Flexible Education Division of UMass Amherst.

About the Flexible Education Division

The Flexible Education Division is an administrative unit that provides administration and finance, academic administration, IT support, and marketing & communications for the University Without Walls academic unit, UMass Flex, and other online or flex programs within the university.
