University+ offers you a flexible and convenient way to take UMass Amherst classes—for credit or for fun. Administered by the Flexible Education Division of UMass Amherst, courses in the U+ session are primarily online, part-time to help you balance your education with work, family, or other commitments all while learning at your own pace.
The majority of our classes can also be taken by non-degree students. If you are a guest student, certificate student, not yet officially admitted (pre-matriculated) or previously inactive and you want to enroll in UMass Amherst classes. Learn how by reviewing our Non-Degree Enrollment page.
