Dog-Owning Families Sought for Research Study
Content
The Behavioral Medicine Lab at UMass Amherst is recruiting families for a study investigating how dog ownership impacts youth physical activity.
Eligible families must have a child between the ages of 7-10 years old and a dog aged 1 year or older who has been in the family for at least six months.
Volunteers will be required to attend one study orientation visit of approximately 30 minutes, either on the UMass Amherst campus or via Zoom, and the participating child and family dog(s) will wear a small activity monitor for seven days.
