Description

This course is designed to give students a broad overview of holism as it relates to health practices currently identified as "complementary and alternative medicine" (CAM). Students will learn about a variety of CAM therapies, their philosophical and cultural contexts, controversies, and how they do - or do not - interface with biomedicine.
