About

As a lifelong professional in public health and education, I am passionate about improving the outcome of individuals and communities on both a personal and global level. My areas of expertise include maternal and child health, holistic health and healing, life and career coaching, health administration, health education, and humanitarian aid and relief. I have experience as a program coordinator, educator, maternal child health specialist, and coach in a variety of settings: individual appointments, groups, communities, organizations, hospitals, colleges, and a refugee camp. My breadth of experience is in the private and public sector, as well as at the domestic and international level.

I am committed to empowering people as agents in their own health care and wellness decisions, through providing accurate information and resources combined with a compassionate approach to teaching, coaching, and support.

Most recently, I have combined my passion for emergency crisis response, maternal child health, and international health through my summer experience with Nurture Project International as the assistant site coordinator and IYCF-E professional (Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies) to promote safe infant feeding practices among families in transit, fleeing war, oppression, and persecution. This is a specialty niche, which I hope to continue to explore.
