Part Time Instructor - Spring 2026
We are looking for graduate students, postdocs, fellows or instructors who would like to teach Introductory Physics in the Spring 2026 semester. Physics 151 is a first semester intro course for science and engineering majors. Physics 132 is a second semester intro course for life-science majors. We seek instructors for the lecture components of each of these courses. This is a paid, part-time position for the duration of the Spring semester, which runs approximately from 1/29/2026 - 5/15/2026.

Other duties include the organization and cleaning of storage rooms, equipment maintenance, and securing rooms at the end of the day. You may also assist in designing new demonstrations, labs, and creating instructions and media for the website. There is also the opportunity to participate in physics education research.
The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate physics or astronomy major. The work is approximately 10 hours per week. The ability to work 4:00 to 7:00pm one or two evenings a week is required.
