The Introductory Physics for Life Science majors, Physics 131, is looking for motivated undergraduate students to serve as teaching assistants. The course incorporates Team Based Learning. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in an exciting, modern researched based pedagogy. Hourly rate starts at $15/hr.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Holding one office hour per week in the physics consultation room.
- Attending 2 one-hour meetings per week at times that are mutually convenient for all the Physics 131 staff.
- Attending one of the following sections:
Physics 131 with Heath Hatch
- Monday and Wednesday 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM
- Monday and Wednesday 9:25 AM - 10:40 AM
- Monday and Wednesday 10:50 AM - 12:05 PM
Physics 131 with Paul Bourgeois
- Monday and Wednesday 12:15 PM - 1:30 PM
- Monday and Wednesday 1:40 PM - 2:55 PM
