Amanda Hickey

Dr. Amanda Hickey is an Assistant Director of the Career and Professional Development Center in the College of Natural Sciences at UMass Amherst. She brings over a decade of experience in student advising and education and is excited to bring this support to Graduate students in their academic and professional journeys.

Before joining UMass Amherst, Amanda served as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Health Sciences Department at Keene State College. As a proud UMass alum, she holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the university.

Outside of her professional work, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her family, coaching youth sports, reading, and staying active.
