As a UMass Amherst student, David Korins '99 sought out all possible opportunities to hone his craft and say "yes." Now, his unique style of experiential storytelling helps bring to life acclaimed productions such as Broadway's "Hamilton" and the new "Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience."

Korins returned to campus to connect with students and his faculty mentor and theater department chair, Harley Erdman. He visited the scenic design studio and costume shop in the Bromery Center for the Arts new Arts Bridge and led a master class that stressed the importance of the simultaneous "real-world and educational experiences" he received at UMass Amherst to his career.
