Internationally acclaimed Basque poet and novelist Kirmen Uribe will give a public lecture entitled, "Basque and Me: Language, Memory, and Literature." Refreshments will be served.

Kirmen Uribe is an internationally acclaimed Basque poet and novelist whose work explores migration, exile, identity, and memory. A recipient of Spain's National    
Literature Prize, his writing has been translated into more than twenty-five languages and featured in The New Yorker and The Paris Review.
