Career Resources for International Students
Overview
We recognize that immigration policies in the U.S. are increasingly complicated, and the competition for finding a job is increasing. When considering applying for jobs in the U.S., we highly recommend first meeting with the UMass Amherst Office of Global Affairs to determine your visa requirements for internships or a full-time job after graduation.
You can then make an appointment with an HFA Career Services advisor. We can help you find and apply for opportunities that match your skills and interests!

In addition, international students now have access to Interstride, a third-party resource that helps you find international-friendly jobs in the US and beyond, networks with globally-minded peers, and resources about immigration from a career perspective through webinars and courses.
