Studied Abroad in Rome, Italy at the American University of Rome  

During my time abroad, I was deeply immersed into Italian culture and daily life. At the American University of Rome, I took classes focused on history and politics of the local areas. I practiced my language skills and conversed with my peers in Italian, furthering my cultural immersion. My program included several experiences including a trip to Tuscany where we got to attend a wine tasting and pasta making experience. Furthermore, we attended a Roman bath spa and took tours of several monuments and churches. Beyond academics, I was able to travel throughout Italy and visit several other European countries.  

In my senior year at UMass, I am currently pursuing an individual Honors Thesis focused on the impact of NGO’s and corporations on international policy. My research is focused on the South Asian region. I am currently in the process of applying to law school and plan to begin in Fall of 2026. I am also dedicating my time to my role as director of public relations at the UMass Pre-Law Club. I hope to take all my experiences and apply them to law school.
