Why you should attend this talk

López-Cevallos encourages students to attend this talk to get to know him on a personal level. He strongly believes that professional and personal connections are essential for the success of undergraduate students and appreciates that CHC is providing a space to connect students with faculty.

“Take advantage of the opportunity and come and ask interesting questions and engage in conversation.”

López-Cevallos will also discuss in more detail how and why students should get involved in research on campus. He explained that participating in research early on is an excellent way to engage with the university and build a professional network. He will offer advice on overcoming the nerves that often accompany the beginning of the process and share how he has connected with his past and current research students.

The Fall 2024 Pizza and Prof will be held in the Honors Hub. If you are interested in attending, RSVPs are encouraged.
