Commonwealth Honors College begins each fall semester with an Induction Ceremony welcoming new students to our living and learning community. This time-honored tradition is a way for each member of our community to celebrate and thank new students for choosing to share their UMass journey with us. We invite all incoming students to the Commonwealth Honors College Induction Ceremony to celebrate this milestone in our collective commitment to academic excellence, dedication to curiosity, and exploration of ideas — all in the service of developing a deeper understanding of and finding solutions to real-world challenges.

You will hear from inspiring speakers, gather in community with other Honors Scholars, and receive your own Commonwealth Honors College pin to wear when you graduate. After the ceremony new Honors students will gather with faculty and staff to begin building community connections.

Friday, September 4, Doors Open at 3 p.m., Ceremony at 3:30 p.m.

Frederick C. Tillis Performance Hall at the
Randolph W. Bromery Center for the Arts

The Induction Ceremony will be available via livestream. The link will be available on the CHC website later in the summer, and will be emailed to our incoming students.
