With a Fulbright English Teaching Award, I will be assisting in English language instruction in Spanish schools and serving as a U.S. cultural ambassador. Teaching English as a foreign language abroad will allow me to vastly expand my teaching methodology, as I hope to further pursue a career in ESL upon return to the U.S. The Fulbright ETA award is a significant and gratifying step in this direction as interacting with students of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences will deepen my understanding of various perspectives and approaches to learning.
