Christine Lasco Crago is motivated by the need to promote sustainable energy sources and consumption practices in the developed and developing parts of the world. Her recent work has focused on examining economic and environmental impacts of biofuels and policies that promote them.  She is currently starting research on incentives to increase energy efficiency in households. She is also interested in the broader fields of environmental, energy and development economics.
