REMP student honored with award at WISE 2023 summit

Ketan, a PhD student in research, educational measurement, and psychometrics (REMP), visited Doha, Qatar in late November to attend the WISE 2023 Summit and awards ceremony.

Prior to enrolling at UMass, Ketan led a project called the International Common Assessment of Numeracy (ICAN) while working for the People's Action for Learning Network. ICAN is one of six projects (from five different countries) to receive a WISE 2023 Award. Projects are recognized for their innovative approach to pressing education issues and positive social impact. This year, 404 projects applied or were nominated for the WISE Awards.
