UMass EDUC Table at the 2025 CIES Conference

Last week, the UMass College of Education programs were strongly represented at the 2025 Comparative International Education (CIES) Conference! Ahmed Gomaa, a current M.Ed. student and Early Grade Reading certificate graduate, displayed materials for many of our online and in-person programs.

Many UMass College of Education graduate students and recent graduates presented at the conference, including Nangyalai Attal, Mirriam Banda, Lamiaa Eid, Mujtaba Hedayet, Ketan Ketan, Natia Mzhavanadze, Susannah Reed Poland, Erica Scharrer, Mariam Parvez Sheikh, Muhammad Salman Sikandar, and Shamo Thar.

We also want to give a special congratulations to our International Education Professor Sangeeta Kamat, who was a discussant and workshop organizer at this year's conference and is the incoming vice president of CIES.
