CESL 25 Anniversary Event

Faculty from the Department of Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies (TECS) Celebrated 25 Years of the Civic Engagement and Service Learning Program (CESL) at UMass Amherst on Monday, February 24. 

The celebratory event began with a dinner at 5 PM followed by a brief history of CESL and a forum with past CESL Faculty Fellows and their community partners discussing the collaborative work. Time was included to imagine the future of community-engaged teaching/learning on (and off) campus while celebrating 25 years of CESL at UMass Amherst.
