Assistant Professor Jeanne Brunner and graduate students Christine McGrail and Kathleen Mahoney presented "Upper Elementary Students' Interactions with Nature of Science ReadAlouds" at the NARST Annual Conference for research in science education. They described findings from two related studies on using read-alouds to teach nature of science in elementary grades. This classroom-based research has implications for classroom practice and future research.
