Congratulations to Caryn Brause, associate professor of architecture, who was honored with a 2022 Women in Design Award of Excellence from the Boston Society for Architecture. Brause is currently a doctoral student in the College of Education Higher Education program.
“I am deeply honored to be included in such a distinguished field of accomplished women designers," says Brause.
The accolade is presented in recognition of a person who has built one's own life around design, whose work exemplifies the best of process and product, and who uses a position of achievement to give back to the world of design and to the community at large. Brause's research examines the relationship between higher education-built environments and student learning and development.
