The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 9 in the Mullins Center at 10:00 a.m.  

Arrival

Doors open for guest entry and seating at 9 a.m. The ceremony is scheduled to conclude at approximately 12 p.m

Tickets

Guest tickets are required for the Doctoral Hooding ceremony.  Candidates will register in Tassel and RVSP for the ceremony by April 12. Based on the number of expected graduates and the size of the venue, each student will be allocated twelve tickets for the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. Guest tickets will be distributed to registered students’ Mullins Center accounts the week of commencement in May.

Parking

Parking is free for the weekend. Expect heavy traffic. Please allow plenty of time to arrive on campus, park and make your way to the arena. 

Security

All guests will be required to walk through metal detectors when entering the venue. To expedite the process, we ask guests and graduates to remove cell phones from their pockets. Small purses and diaper bags are allowed, but will be inspected upon entry. Outside food and beverages, weapons of any kind, and tobacco products are not permitted inside the arena.
