Education Policy, Research, and Leadership is a non-licensure degree.
This M.Ed. degree is designed to equip students with theoretical frameworks and practical skills that will enhance their professional opportunities, as well as to prepare them to pursue terminal degrees in education, public policy, or the social sciences. A master's degree in Education Policy, Research, and Leadership (EdPRL) is for those who seek to transform education systems and drive meaningful change. Students in the program develop critical skills in data analysis, policy design, and methods of systemic inquiry, blending theory with real-world applications and on-the-ground field experience. This M.Ed. will open doors to leadership roles in government, non-profit organizations, think tanks, and international organizations, making it a vital stepping stone for anyone committed to creating a more just and effective educational landscape through policy and research.
Students who enroll in the program full-time (3 classes per semester) can expect to finish in three semesters. Depending on their ability to take a full course load during the summer, students can finish in one calendar year.
