Semih Topuz

Semih Topuz is a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Measurement and Evaluation at Hacettepe University in Turkey and a Research Assistant at Başkent University's Faculty of Education. He is conducting a nine-month research visit at the Center for Educational Assessment, supported by a TÜBİTAK fellowship from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, and working under the supervision of Professor Stephen Sireci. His dissertation examines how large language models can be used to validate test items, an area that combines psychometrics with natural language processing.
