About

Sarah Mabry (B.A./M.A.) is the Executive Assistant to the Dean at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Sarah is responsible for supporting the dean in the planning, administration, and management of various meetings and initiatives. Prior to joining UMass Amherst, she was a Fulbright grant recipient to Spain and administered the university writing center while teaching a Business English course to faculty and staff at IE University. Sarah is recognized for her dedicated leadership and service as a program leader with the AmeriCorps Volunteer in Service to America program. Previously a Spanish teacher to children in grades 3-9, Sarah is interested in topics that include education and policy, leadership, teaching, and social justice issues in education. A graduate of Monmouth College (B.A.), Sarah obtained a degree in International Studies, Spanish, and Business Administration. She later attended Brandeis University (M.A.) and received a graduate degree in Global Studies while teaching at the university writing center as a Senior Graduate Writing Consultant and in the Gateways Scholars Program.  Sarah is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Higher Education Leadership & Administration at UMass Amherst.
