Students!

Working within your chosen field is critical to your personal success.  Most Stockbridge students begin working via student internships that allow exploration in their field of interest.

Help developing your career is integrated throughout your education at Stockbridge and UMass.  You'll get one-on-one advising from your professors, faculty advisor, and the on-campus CNS Career Center focused on the sciences, and a curated online index of available jobs and internships in your field.

All students get a free account and career profile on the university's Handshake career platform, where you can search for opportunities, register for on-campus career fairs, and make appointments for one-on-one help with your professional resume, cover letter writing, and interview skills.

Students and recent graduates can find internships and job postings on Handshake.  The College of Natural Sciences (CNS) Career Center offers Student Help with Handshake.

Employers!

Employers are encouraged to get get a  free Handshake account through which to post job and internship opportunities for students from Stockbridge and allied majors at UMass Amherst.  Handshake will also tell you how to register for upcoming career fairs on our campus.  Download and print our Handshake Help Sheet for Employers!

Please note that opportunities previously posted on our Stockbridge "Career-Net" board are no longer available and will need to be re-entered on Handshake.

Alumni!

We've got your back too!  You've got your own lifetime access to Handshake.  See the CNS Career Center's Alumni Career Services page.
