New England Board of Higher Ed Tuition Break Program
Residents of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, who enroll in a UMass degree program not offered by colleges in their home-state, may be eligible for reduced tuition through the New England Board of Higher Ed (NEBHE) Tuition Break Program. See the NEBHE-approved UMass Amherst degree programs on the NEBHE Tuition Break website. For details on registering for the lowered tuition, see the UMass Registrar's Tuition Break page. (The NEBHE Tuition Break program was previously called the "New England Regional Student Program").
Scholarships
Scholarships are available to enrolled students through AcademicWorks, an online platform which streamlines applications for all of the scholarships known to the university for which you are also eligible. Additionally, Stockbridge hosts its own Stockbridge Scholarships page with field-specific funding opportunities available to high school seniors and newly entering Stockbridge students.
Internships
Stockbridge students have the opportunity to benefit from paid internships at sites where you can work and learn, while earning both money and academic credit at the same time. Adding internships to your summers can substantially lower the costs of college attendance. And you'll be more employable at graduation due to the field experience you'll have on your resume.
