Master's Programs Designed to Support Your Goals

Are you interested in a meaningful career that will allow you to create lasting change, whether in your community, on a national level, or beyond? The UMass Amherst College of Social and Behavioral Sciences offers master's programs designed to support your graduate school experience, allowing you to create a clear path toward your interests and career goals. As a master's student, you will receive guidance from advisors and faculty, as well as real-world experience in the form of internships and research opportunities. Graduates from our programs have pursued successful careers in policy analysis, government, non-profits, think tanks, private industry, and more.

The SBS master's programs are flexible, allowing working professionals to attend part-time. Because we encourage non-traditional students to apply, GRE scores are not required for admittance.

We are glad you are here and hope you will consider UMass Amherst for your graduate studies!
