Interested in a career in public policy, but have a busy schedule? The fully online Master of Public Policy (MPP) at UMass Amherst is a fantastic option for realizing your goals! This program is designed as a completely asynchronous version of our on-campus program, meaning that you get to choose where and when to complete your classes and assignments. While the program is designed as a two-year, part-time program, you can opt to move at a quicker or slower pace depending on your unique schedule and needs.
With the same coursework and degree outcomes as our on-campus MPP, you will experience the same rigorous public policy curriculum as in-person students. You will learn how to analyze, research, communicate about, and develop effective policies all while using data for informed decision making and good governance. Our faculty offer a wealth of expertise, allowing you to gain the practical and theoretical knowledge needed to start or boost your public service career.
