The purpose of this course is to provide a broad introduction to public health. The course will cover an overview of the history, key vocabulary, and concepts that provide a basis for promoting health at a population level. The class will engage the students in active learning through the use of video, case studies, and interactive activities. This course is a curriculum requirement for incoming MS and PhD students entering the School of Public Health and Health Sciences (SPHHS). This is a self-guided course.
