Distinguished Faculty Lecture Series & Chancellor’s Medal 

Dean’s, Department chairs, DPC and CPC chairs typically send their nominations directly to the Provost’s Office.   However, starting in the academic year 2025-2026, the Dean's Office is offering to collect nominations to forward to the Provost via a college InfoReady form.  By collecting the nominations, HFA will be better able to track how many are being submitted to ensure HFA faculty are in the running to receive the award.  Please note that nominators are not required to use the HFA form.  If a nominator chooses, they may send their nomination directly to the Provost’s Office.    

The HFA nomination form will be launched when the Provost’s Office issues the call for 2026-2027 nominations.  The deadline to submit nominations via the HFA form is likely to be earlier than the deadline to submit nominations directly to the Provost.  If you miss the college’s deadline, you may still, of course, submit your nomination directly to the Provost’s Office provided you meet their deadline.
